RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Residential Development Group has requested that
it be allowed to deposit a sum of money less than that required
by Section 28-3 of the Municipal Code, City of McHenry, Illinois,
in connection with the proposed annexation of certain territory
to the City; and
WHEREAS, good cause has been shown to reduce the amount
of such initial deposit;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF McHENRY, McHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That pursuant to the authority contained in
Section 28-10 of the Municipal Code, and upon good cause shown,
the initial deposit requirements of Section 28-3 aforesaid be
and the same are hereby partially waived as to the pending
Residential Development Group annexation proceedings and in
lieu of the requirement thereof, Residential Development Group
be and it is hereby authorized to deposit the initial sum of
$15,000.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect immediately upon its passage and approval.
