RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Father Eugene C. Baumhofer has served with de-
dication and honor for many years as pastor of St. Mary's Par-
ish in McHenry, and
WHEREAS, Father Baumhofer will soon embark on a well de-
served retirement, and
WHEREAS, Father Baumhofer has been a dynamic spiritual
leader, and
WHEREAS, Father Baumhofer has been an active civic lead-
er, and
WHEREAS, Father Baumhofer has been a personal friend and
counselor to many, and
WHEREAS, Father Baumhofer has served with compassion and
understanding, and
WHEREAS, Father Baumhofer has endeared himself to many,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of McHenry
goes on record recognizing the many contributions made by
Father Baumhofer and thanking him for his devotion, his mini-
stry, but mainly his love for McHenry and all its people.
Motion by Wieser, seconded by Schooley, that the above
resolution be adopted and that a copy be made a permanent part
of the records of the City of McHenry and a copy be presented
to Father Eugene C. Baumhofer.
AYES: Pepping, Nolan, Harker, Datz, Wieser, Adams, Meurer, Schooley.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: None.
