RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, ALIDA WIRTZ has served for 27 years on the McHenry Public
Library Board, and •
WHEREAS, ALIDA WIRTZ has served with dedication and devotion on
that Board, and
WHEREAS, ALIDA WIRTZ has given much time and energy to the offices
of treasurer for sixteen years and president for one year while a member
of the Library Board, and
WHEREAS, ALIDA WIRTZ has shown civic interest in the progress of
the McHenry Public Library for many years, and
WHEREAS, ALIDA WIRTZ has chosen to retire from the McHenry Public
Library Board,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
McHenry go on recored as recognizing these accomplishments and expresses
its appreciation on behalf of the citizens of McHenry.
I move the adoption of the above resolution, that it be incorporated
in the minutes of this meeting and a copy be presented to Alida Wirtz.
