RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Section 9 of the City of McHenry, Illinois Bond
Ordinance which was passed and approved on March 19 , 1956 and
which authorized the issuance of the City' s outstanding Water-
works and Sewerage Revenue Bonds, Series 1956 , requires that
there must be filed with the City Council a certificate or
letter of the engineer in responsible charge of any future
necessary improvements, extensions , repairs and rehabilitations
to the City' s combined waterworks and sewerage system where
the construction thereof is to be paid, in whole or part, by
the issuance of additional revenue bonds; and
WHEREAS, the governing body of the City of McHenry has
heretofore employed the engineering firm of Baxter & Woodman,
Inc. , to prepare plans, maps, files and specifications for the
expansion of its sanitary waste treatment facilities and said
engineering firm is in responsible charge for the construction
thereof, and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council of the City have re-
ceived a letter from Baxter & Woodman, Inc. , dated August 16 ,
1979 setting forth and certifying the matters and things
described in Section 9 of the aforesaid 1956 City Revenue Bond
Ordinance, a copy of which letter is attached hereto as Exhibit
1 and is incorporated herein by reference; and,
WHEREAS , it is the desire and intention of the governing
body of the City that said Exhibit 1 shall be approved and shall
be made a part of the public record at the regular meeting of
the City Council on August 20 , 1979 before any action is taken
by the governing body to authorize the issuance of additional
Waterworks and Sewerage Revenue Bonds;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MCHENRY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
1. That the aforesaid Exhibit 1 which is attached
hereto and made a part hereof be and the same is hereby approved.
2 . That the aforesaid Exhibit 1 which is attached
hereto and made a part hereof be and the same is hereby made a
public record in the proceedings of the governing body of the
City prior to any action taken by said body in connection with
any ordinance authorizing such additional revenue bonds.
