RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Florence Rothermel has served with dedication for over nineteen
years as an elementary school teacher, fourteen of those years being in McHenry;
and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Rothermel will soon embark on her well deserved retirement;
and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Rothermel has served with dedication, compassion and under-
standing; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Rothermel has dedicated her life to the education, inspiration
and motivation of our children; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Rothermel has been an exemplary model for other teachers to
emulate; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Rothermel has endeared herself to many,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of McHenry go on record re-
cognizing the many contributions made by Florence Rothermel and thanking her
for her dedication and love to the the children and parents of McHenry.
Motion by Pepping , seconded by Nolan , that the above resolution
be adopted and that a copy be made a permanent part of the records of the City
of McHenry and a copy be presented to Florence Rothermel .
AYES: Nolan, Pepping, Datz, Harker, Adams, Schooley, Meurer
NAYS: None
ABSENT: Wieser
Passed and approved this 5th day of May, 1980.
