RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, FRED J. MEYER is retiring from the office of Superintendant
of Public Works of the City of McHenry; and
WHEREAS, he has held that office continuously during the past twenty
years ; and
WHEREAS , he has served with dedication, devotion, and integrity
for many years with the welfare of the City uppermost in his mind; and
WHEREAS, he has shown civic interest in the City's progress in
development for many years ; and
WHEREAS, he has given generously of his time and efforts ; and
WHEREAS, his contribution and accomplishments for the City are noted
and recognized.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council of
the City of McHenry presents to Fred J. Meyer its expression of grateful
acknowledgement for his valued services rendered in the public interest
as Superintendent of Public Works and is tendered with the sincere
appreciation of the citizens of McHenry.
