RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Betty Smith has served four years as Assistant Director of
the Emergency Services and Disaster Agency for the City of McHenry, and
WHEREAS, she has shown civic interest in the progress of the Emer-
gency Services and Disaster Agency, and
WHEREAS, she has devoted many hours, with exceptional ability, in
performing her duties to protect the health, welfare and safety of the
citizens of McHenry, and
WHEREAS, her knowledge of the workings of the Emergency Services and
Disaster Agency has been of great value to the citizens of McHenry, and
WHEREAS, she has always been a prompt, efficient and willing worker
in her capacity as Assistant Director of the Emergency Services and Dis-
aster Agency for the City of McHenry.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council of
the City of McHenry acknowledge the many contributions Betty Smith has
made, and express their appreciation on behalf of the citizens of McHenry.
I move the adoption of the above resolution, that it be incorporated
in the minutes of this meeting and a copy be presented to Betty Smith.
