ISOLUTION
WHEREAS, THE McHENRY CHORAL CLUB is celebrating its 40th Anniversary
this year; and
WHEREAS, THE McHENRY CHORAL CLUB has produced professional programs
of the highest quality which have brought many happy hours of musical
entertainment to the citizens of McHenry over the past forty years; and
WHEREAS, THE McHENRY CHORAL CLUB has endeared itself to the hearts of
music lovers and has become a part of the tradition and history of McHenry;
and
WHEREAS, the members of the McHenry Choral Club have given much time
and energy to ensure successful programs and have performed with exceptional
ability and talent; and
WHEREAS, THE McHENRY CHORAL CLUB has kept the valleys and hills of
McHenry alive with the sound of music over the past 40 years.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council of the
City of McHenry offers sincere congratulations to the McHenry Choral Club
on its 40th Anniversary and wishes to express heartfelt appreciation for
the many contributions and accomplishments made in the public interest and
expresses thanks on behalf of all the citizens of the greater McHenry area.
I move the adoption of the above Resolution, that it be incorporated
into the records of the City of McHenry, and that a copy be presented to
the McHenry Choral Club.
