RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Boone Creek, a waterway within the City of McHenry,
County of McHenry, State of Illinois, drains a 23 square mile wa-
tershed; and
WHEREAS, Boone Creek was formerly deep, wide, and clear; and
WHEREAS, Boone Creek is now shallow, narrow, and residue la-
den; and
WHEREAS, Boone Creek could be restored to its original beauty
if it were dredged and deepened.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of McHenry un-
dertake the project of dredging Boone Creek, that funding for this
project come from the City' s Federal Revenue Sharing Trust Funds,
and that a copy of this Resolution be incorporated into the minutes
of this meeting.
