RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Chamber of Commerce of the City of McHenry
desires to hold their Annual Fiesta Day Parade on Route 31 and
Route 120 on Sunday, July 26, 1981 between the hours of 2:00 P.M.
and 4:00 P.M. ,
WHEREAS, said parade will require the closing of Route 31
and Route 120 either partially or completely between Route 31
and Route 120, and
WHEREAS, the State of Illinois requires the City to assume
all responsibility and liability involved in the closing of
said highways,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of McHenry
that said City will assume full responsibility for the direction,
protection and regulation of traffic during the time the detour
is in effect, and all liabilities for damages of any kind
occasioned by the closing of said State Routes.
It is further agreed that efficient, all weather detours
will be maintained, conspicuously marked and judiciously police
patrolled for the benefit of traffic deviated from the State
Routes.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of McHenry, this
18th day of May, 1981.

2/10ths OF A MILE EAST TO RIVERSIDE DRIVE. TRAFFIC TO PROCEED EAST
AND WEST BOUND ON THE NORTH SIDE OF RT. 120
