HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - R-92-9A - 06/02/1982 - St. Pat Church liquor R-82-91k RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McHENRY, ILLINOIS, as follows: 1. That permission and license, without any fee, be and it is hereby given to the Parish Council of St. Patrick Parish, McHenry, Illinois, to sell alcoholic beverages at retail on the St. Patrick' s Church premises, for consumption on said premises only, on June 25 and 26, 1982, from the hours of 7:00 P.M. to 4:00 the next morning in connection with and as part of the Town and Country Summerfest activities. 2. That the aforesaid permission and license is granted to the Parish Council of St. Patrick Parish, McHenry, Illinois, on the following terms and conditions: (a) That prior to June 25, 1982, the Parish Council of St. Patrick Parish, McHenry, Illinois shall , at its own expense, furnish the City of McHenry with a certificate of Dram Shop insurance, or other acceptable evidence of insurance coverage, with coverage limits of $150,000- $300,000 insuring against any and all dram shop claims for damages that might arise in connection with said sale of alcoholic beverages. (b) That the Parish Council of St. Patrick Parish, McHenry, Illinois, shall not permit any of the alcoholic beverages that is purchased from it to be consumed off the Church premises. (c) That the Parish Council of St. Patrick Parish, McHenry, Illinois, shall comply in all respects with the terms and provisions of the Dram Shop Act relating to licensing by the State of Illinois. (d) That the Parish Council of St. Patrick Parish, McHenry, Illinois, shall , prior to June 25, 1982, furnish the City with an acceptance of the fore- going terms and conditions.
