RESOLUTION
WHEREAS , the Village of McHenry Shores entered into a Grant
Agreement with the United States Environmental Protection Agency
for the completion of a Step -1 Facilities Plan, and
WHEREAS, said Facilities Plan is now complete, and
WHEREAS , the Village of McHenry Shores has since been annexed
to the City of McHenry, and
WHEREAS , the existence of the Village of McHenry Shores
terminated with said annexation, and
WHEREAS, the City of McHenry, by virtue of said annexation
assumed all then current assets and obligations of the Village
of McHenry Shores;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of McHenry, McHenry Country, Illinois , that upon receipt
of the final grant payment, said City releases the United States
Environmental Protection Agency, its officials , agents, and
employees from all liabilities , obligations , and claims arising
out of the project work or under the Grant.
Dated at the City of McHenry, Illinois , this 15th day of
November, 1982 .
