A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE ABATEMENT OF
THE REAL ESTATE TAXES LEVIED IN 1982 , PAYABLE
IN 1983, IN THE AMOUNT OF $35 , 493. 75 , HERETOFORE
AUTHORIZED BY CITY OF McHENRY ORDINANCE 0-82-298
WHEREAS , it appears that sufficient proceeds are on
hand in available bond proceed funds to pay for the cost
of the project described in City of McHenry Ordinance
0-82-298 and also to pay the first installment of
principal and interest on the General Obligation Bonds
authorized by said Ordinance which is payable on February
1 , 1984 in the amount of $35 , 493. 75 .
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF McHENRY , McHENRY COUNTY , ILLINOIS , AS
FOLLOWS :
SECTION 1 . That the County Clerk of McHenry County,
Illinois is hereby authorized and directed to abate the
1982 Direct Annual Tax in the amount of $35 , 493. 75
(payable in 1983) , which was heretofore authorized by City
of McHenry Ordinance No. 0-82-298 to pay the February 1 ,
1984 interest and principal installment on the General
Obligation Bonds of the City of McHenry, McHenry County,
Illinois authorized by said Ordinance.
SECTION 2 . That this Resolution shall be in full
force and effect immediately from and after its passage
and approval and shall be irrevocable.
