RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Jack Pepping recently concluded a 4-year term as Alderman
of the First Ward in the City of McHenry, and
WHEREAS, he has chosen not to seek reelection to the office , and
WHEREAS, he has served both as chairman and as a member of import-
ant committees during his term of office; and
WHEREAS, he has served the office of Alderman with purpose, dedica-
tion and devotion; and
WHEREAS, he has shown civic interest in the City' s progress and
development for many years; and
WHEREAS, he has given generously of his time and efforts ; and
WHEREAS, his contributions and accomplishments are noted and
recognized; and
WHEREAS, he has filled the office of Alderman efficiently and
with the welfare of the City uppermost in his mind.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of McHenry go on record as recognizing these accomplishments and
expresses its appreciation on behalf of the citizens of McHenry.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be incorporated
into the minutes of this meeting and that a copy be presented to
Jack Pepping.
