RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Ronald Meurer recently concluded a 4-year term as alderman
of the Fourth Ward in the City of McHenry, and
WHEREAS, he as served both as chairman and as a member of important
committees during his term of office; and
WHEREAS, he has served the office of Alderman with purpose , dedica-
tion and devotion; and
WHEREAS, he has shown civic interest in the City's progress and
development for many years; and
WHEREAS, he has given generously of his time and efforts ; and
WHEREAS, he has filled the office of Alderman efficiently and with
the welfare of the City uppermost in his mind; and
WHEREAS, his contributions and accomplishments are noted and
recognized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
McHenry go on record as recognizing these accomplishments and expresses
its appreciation on behalf of the citizens of McHenry.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be incorporated into
the minutes of this meeting and that a copy be presented to Ronald
Meurer.
