A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE ABATEMENT OF
THE REAL ESTATE TAXES LEVIED IN 1983, PAYABLE
IN 1984, IN THE AMOUNT OF $36,000.00, HERETOFORE
AUTHORIZED BY CITY OF McHENRY ORDINANCE 0-82-298
WHEREAS, it appears that sufficient proceeds are on hand in
available bond proceed funds to pay for the cost of the project
described in City of McHenry Ordinance 0-82-298 and also to pay the
second installment of principal and interest on the General Obliga-
tion Bonds authorized by said Ordinance which installment is payable
on February 1 , 1985 in the amount of $36,000.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF McHENRY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
SECTION 1 . That the County Clerk of McHenry County, Illinois
is hereby authorized and directed to abate the 1983 Direct Annual Tax
in the amount of $36,000.00 (payable in 1984) , which was heretofore
authorized by City of McHenry Ordinance No. 0-82-298 to pay the
February 1 , 1985 second installment of principal and interest on the
General Obligation Bonds of the City of McHenry, McHenry County,
Illinois authorized by said Ordinance.
SECTION 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and
effect immediately from and after its passage and approval and shall
be irrevocable.
PASSED this 21st day of November, 1983.
