RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Robert O'Brien has recently concluded his second term
as a member of the McHenry Public Library Board; and
WHEREAS, Robert O'Brien has chosen to retire from the Library
Board wherein he .had given generously of his time and efforts; and
WHEREAS, he has served the Library Board with purpose, dedi-
cation and devotion; and
WHEREAS, his contributions and accomplishments are noted and
recognized; and
WHEREAS, he has filled the office of Library Board member
efficiently and with the welfare of the McHenry Public Library
uppermost in his mind.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council
of the City of McHenry go on record as recognizing these accomplish-
ments and expresses its appreciation on behalf of all the citizens of
McHenry.
BE IT FRUTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be incorporated
into the minutes of this meeting and that a copy be presented to
Robert O'Brien.
PASSED and APPROVED this 20th day of August, 1984.
