RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE PARTIAL
ABATEMENT OF THE 1984 AD VALOREM TAXES
LEVIED AGAINST ALL TAXABLE PROPERTY IN
SPECIAL SERVICE AREA NO. ONE OF THE
CITY OF McHENRY, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, it appears that the Special Service Area No.
One Bond Fund presently contains $45,000.00 in proceeds which
are available for use in partial payment of the principal and
interest installments payable on Special Area No. One Unlimited
Ad Valorem Tax Bonds payable on February 1 , 1986 and August 1 ,
1985; and
WHEREAS, NIMED Corporation has requested the City of
McHenry to cause the partial abatement of the 1984 Ad Valorem
Taxes levied against the property in Special Service Area No.
One of the City of McHenry in connection with the aforesaid
bonds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF McHENRY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
Section 1 . That the County Clerk of McHenry County,
Illinois is hereby authorized and directed to abate the sum of
$45,000.00 of the 1984 Ad Valorem Taxes which were levied
against all taxable property in Sepcial Service Area No. One of
the City of McHenry, Illinois (which taxes are payable in 1985)
to pay $34,920.00 interest payable on August 1 , 1985 and
$74,920.00 principal and interest payable on February 1 , 1986
on Special Service Area No. One Unlimited Ad Valorem Tax Bonds
of the City of McHenry, Illinois; that the sum of $64,840.00
shall be levied as and for the aforesaid 1984 Ad Valorem Taxes.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force
and effect immediately from and after its passage and approval
and shall be irrevocable.
