RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Joseph B. Stanek has served as Mayor of the City of
McHenry for 12 years; and
WHEREAS, he .has devoted an extraordinary amount of time and
energy in fulfilling the duties of his office with dignity and honor
and the welfare of the City of McHenry uppermost in his mind; and
WHEREAS, his many contributions and accomplishments for the
benefit of the citizens of McHenry are hereby acknowledged with grati-
tude; and
WHEREAS, he can look back with pride and satisfaction on the
progress the City of McHenry has made during his administration.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of McHenry go on record as recognizing Mayor Joseph B. Stanek 's
accomplishments and expresses its appreciation on behalf of the citi-
zens of McHenry.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be incorporated in-
to the minutes of this meeting and that a copy of this Resolution be
presented to Joseph B. Stanek.
PASSED and APPROVED this 22nd day of April , 1985.
