RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Dorothy Uttich has recently retired from the McHenry
Public Library after serving more than twenty three years; and
WHEREAS, she has served the Library with purpose, dedication
and devotion; and
WHEREAS, Dorothy's contributions and accomplishments are num-
erous, including single-handedly setting up the History and Genealogy
Room of the Library and working through two building additions; and
WHEREAS, she has filled the office of Chief Technical Librarian
most efficiently and can look back with pride and satisfaction on the
progress that the Library has made during her tenure.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of McHenry officially recognizes Dorothy Uttich's many accomplishments
and expresses its appreciation on behalf of the citizens of McHenry.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be incorporated in-
to the minutes of this meeting and that a copy of this Resolution be
presented to Dorothy Uttich.
