WHEREAS, on April 18, 1984, the City of McHenry entered into a
Mass Transportation Capital Grant Agreement, per Ordinance #0-84-331
authorizing the execution of said Agreement, with the State of Illi-
nois, Department of Transportation regarding the Commuter Parking Lot
Project; and
WHEREAS, Phase II of a New Grant Agreement (Contract No. 1139)
has been presented to the City for approval and for execution by the
Mayor and City Clerk, in order to proceed with the construction of
said Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF McHENRY, ILLINOIS, that Phase II of the New Grant Agree-
ment, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference,
be and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to execute said Phase II of the New Grant
Agreement, and the City Clerk be and she is hereby directed to attest
to said Agreement and cause the same to be delivered to the State of
Illinois, Department of Transportation in order to proceed and com-
plete said Project.
