WHEREAS, Joan Schwegel has recently retired as Chairman of
the City of McHenry Plan Commission after concluding fifteen years
of dedicated service; and
WHEREAS, she has devoted an extroordinary amount of time
and energy in fulfilling the duties of her office; and
WHEREAS, she can look back with pride and satisfaction on
the orderly progress the City of McHenry has made because of her
effective leadership; and
WHEREAS, her many contributions and accomplishments for the
benefit of the citizens of McHenry are hereby acknowledged with
gratitude.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of McHenry officially recognizes Joan Schwegel's
accomplishments and expresses its appreciation on behalf of all
the citizens of the City of McHenry.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be incorporated
into the minutes of this meeting and that a copy of this
Resolution be presented to Joan Schwegel.
