R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the Chamber of Commerce of the City of McHenry desires to hold
their Annual Fiesta Day Parade on Route 120 on Sunday, July 23, 1989 between
the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.; and
WHEREAS, said parade will require the closing of Route 120 either
partially or completely between Route 31 and Riverside Drive; and
WHEREAS, the State of Illinois required the City to assume all
responsibility and liability involved in the closing of said highways.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City
of McHenry, that said City will assume full responsibility for the direction,
protection and regulation of traffic deviated from the State Routes.
PASSED this 5th day of July, 1989.
AYES: Bolger, Donahue, Lieder, Teta, Patterson, Serritella.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: Smith, McClatchey.
NOT VOTING: None.
ABSTAINED: None.
