RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Frances H. Olsen concluded her office as Executive
Director of the McHenry Area Chamber of Commerce after nearly 10
Years of devoted service; and
WHEREAS, she has filled the office of Executive Director with
the welfare of the McHenry Area uppermost in her mind; and
WHEREAS, she has devoted an extraordinary amount of time and
energy in fulfilling the duties of her office; and
WHEREAS, she was instrumental in securing the designation of
Certified Cities for the City of McHenry; and
WHEREAS, she has contributed greatly over the years to the
success of the annual Trade Fairs and Fiesta Days' Celebrations; and
WHEREAS, she can look back with pride and satisfaction on the
progress the City of McHenry has made because of her leadership.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Council of the City of McHenry go on record as recognizing the many
contributions and accomplishments of Fran Olsen and expresses its
appreciation and gratitude on behalf of the citizens of McHenry.
