` RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, House Bill 2116, passed by the Illinois 76th General
Assembly, authorizes certain governmental units, including the State of
Illinois, to purchase personal property and supplies jointly.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF McHENRY, MCHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS that the City of McHenry
does hereby agree on a voluntary basis to enter into a joint governmental
purchasing program with the State of Illinois for the term of this Council.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that William J. Busse, Mayor, and/or Barbara
E. Gilpin, City Clerk, be and is hereby authorized and directed to execute,
on behalf of the City of McHenry, all necessary forms, applications,
requisitions and other documents relating to this program.
PASSED and APPROVED this 30th day of May, 1990.
