RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Chamber of Commerce of the City of McHenry desires to
hold their Annual Fiesta Day Parade on Illinois State Route 120 in the City
of McHenry on Sunday, July 22, 1990 between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and
4:00 p.m.; and
WHEREAS, said parade will require the closing of Route 120 either
partially or completely between Route 31 and Riverside Drive; and
WHEREAS, the State of Illinois requires the City of McHenry to
assume all responsibility and liability involved in the closing of said
highway.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the
City of McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois, that said City will assume full
responsibility for the direction, protection and regulation of traffic
deviated from said State Route.
