RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, on October 15, 1990,, a Musical Benefit was held to
benefit the Interfaith Shelter of McHenry County, the "Home of the
Sparrow' at St. Patrick's Church Hall; and
WHEREAS, under the guidance of Darlene Lawler, many volunteers
unselfishly gave of their time and talents both in the preparation
and the presentation of this benefit; and
WHEREAS, the benefit was a huge success and monetarily
benefitted the Home of the Sparrow; and
WHEREAS, the City of McHenry wishes to acknowledge the
contributions of the organizers, artists and others for this
undertaking.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council
of the City of McHenry go on record as acknowledging the talents and
dedication of its citizens toward the betterment of the community
and the welfare of those in need.
PASSED and APPROVED this 14th day of November, 1990.
