RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Nancy Fike was appointed to the McHenry Historic
Landmark Commission on April 28, 1986.and served until December 12,
1990; and
WHEREAS, she has served admirably as Chairman during her
entire time on the Commission; and
WHEREAS, she has served the Landmark Commission with purpose,
dedication and devotion and has acted in all matters before the
Landmark Commission with the welfare of the City uppermost in her
mind; and
WHEREAS, her ability and civic interest has contributed
greatly to the identification and preservation of historic
landmarks; and
WHEREAS, her contributions and accomplishments are hereby
noted and recognized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of McHenry go on record as recognizing these accomplishments
and expressing its appreciation on behalf of the citizens of McHenry.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be incorporated
into the minutes of this meeting and that a copy be presented to
Nancy Fike.
