RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Donald Porter was appointed to the McHenry Historic
Landmark Commission on November 29, 1989 and served until March 5,
1991; and
WHEREAS, he has served the Landmark Commission with purpose,
dedication and devotion; and
WHEREAS, his ability and civic interest has contributed
greatly to the identification and preservation of historic
landmarks; and
WHEREAS, his contributions and accomplishments are hereby
noted and recognized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of McHenry go on record as recognizing these accomplishments
and expressing its appreciation on behalf of the citizens of McHenry.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be incorporated
into the minutes of this meeting and that a copy be presented to
Donald Porter. .
