-RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, i 1985 the City of McHenry created the McHenry
H#storic*� Landmark Commission to identify and draw the public's
attenti'ae' to historic structures within the City as well as to
promote the ¢feservation of landmarks whenever possible; and
_... WHEREAS, Frank Gans was appointed to that first Landmark
..._ Commission and has. given_ generously of his time and efforts; and
WHEREAS, he has chosen tag- retire- from. -the Commission wherein he
:,had served :With purpose and dedication; and
WHEREAS, his ability and civic interest in the City of McHenry
fias, -contributed greatly to the success of the Landmark' Commi ssi on
and his contributions are hereby noted.
` = : NOW; THEREFORE,: BE IT' RESOLVED that -the City Council of the
City of McHenry go on record as' recogniAng these �''�rccomplishoe nts
Y;• and expresses its appreciation on behalf of "tide -citizens of McHenry.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution: be incorporated
