R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Peter Adams was appointed to the McHenry Police
Commission on May 19, 1975 and recently completed his 17th year on
that Commission; and
WHEREAS, Peter Adams has chosen to retire from the Police
-Commission where he has given generously of his time and efforts; and
WHEREAS, he has served the Commission with purpose,
dedication and devotion and has acted in all matters before the
Commission with the welfare of the City uppermost in his mind; and
WHEREAS, his accomplishments and contributions to the Police
Commission are hereby acknowledged with gratitude.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of McHenry go on record as recognizing the many contributions
of Peter Adams and expresses its appreciation and gratitude on
behalf of the citizens of McHenry.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be incorporated
into the minutes of this meeting and that a copy be presented to
Peter Adams.
PASSED and APPROVED this 3rd day of June, 1992.
