RS-93-2
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, John F. Albrecht was appointed to the McHenry Police
Commission on May 4, 1981; and
WHEREAS, John Albrecht served as Chairman of that Board for
over eight years; and
WHEREAS, John Albrecht has chosen to retire from the Police
Commission wherein he has given generously of his time and efforts;
and
WHEREAS, he has served the Commission with purpose, dedication
and devotion and has acted in all matters before the Commission with
the welfare of the City uppermost in his mind; and
WHEREAS, his accomplishments and contributions to the Police
Commission are hereby acknowledged with gratitude.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of McHenry go on record as recognizing the many contributions
of John F. Albrecht and expresses its appreciation and gratitude on
behalf of the citizens of McHenry.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be incorporated
into the minutes of this meeting and that a copy be presented to
John F. Albrecht.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 3rd day of February, 1993.
