RESOLUTION APPROVING LOCAL MATCH
FOR GREEN STREET IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City of McHenry is a member of the McHenry
County Council of Mayors; and
WHEREAS, the McHenry County Council of Mayors has adopted
policies for the implementation of the STP program of the Intermodal
Surface Transportation Efficiency Act of 1991; and
WHEREAS, those policies require that to receive STP funding,
a project sponsor must submit a STP project application and a
resolution stating that the local match for that project will be
available within three years;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of McHenry go on record that McHenry applies for STP funding
for the Green Street Phase II improvements.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of McHenry hereby
agrees that it will allocate the required local match, estimated to
be $97,800.00 to the improvement of Green Street, within three years
of the date of approval and listing on the McHenry County Council of
Mayors' Guaranteed Project Funding List.
PASSED and APPROVED this 18th day of August, 1993.
