Board of Police Commissioners
April 7, 2021
Police Chairman Sue Meyer called the meeting to order at 8:04 am in the Police Administration
Conference Room with the following Commissioner were present, John Jones and Mike Roberts. Also
present was Chief John Birk, Deputy Chief Tom Walsh and Administrative Assistant Deb Shuett.
Public Comment
None.
1. Motion to Approve February 3, 2021 Meeting Report
Motion by Police Chairman Sue Meyer to approve meeting minutes. John Jones, second by Mike
Roberts to approve the minutes from the February 3, 2021 Police Commission meeting as
presented. All ayes, motion carried.
2. Unfinished Business
Personnel Updates:
Officer Alberto Martinez and Officer Daniel Lincicum were sworn in on March 15th, 2021. They
are attending basic training at the Macon County Law Enforcement Training Center.
Officer Joseph Lopez and Officer Katherine Zajac are progressing in the department’s Field
Training Program.
3. New Business
The department’s Sergeants Examination will be coming up soon. At the July meeting, the
Commission will need to discuss the written exam selection and schedule.
4. Communications
The following bill(s) were presented for approval:
Stanard & Associates $395.00
Evaluation – Daniel Lincicum
Theodore Polygraph Services $400.00
Polygraphs – Alberto Martinez
Daniel Lincicum
Motion by Police Chairman Sue Meyer to approve bills, Mike Roberts, second by John Jones. All
ayes, motion carried.

5. Adjournment
Motion by Police Chairman Sue Meyer to adjourn meeting, John Jones, second by Mike Roberts
to adjourn the meeting at 8:20 am. All ayes, motion carried.
