Board of Police Commissioners
February 3, 2021
Police Chairman Sue Meyer called the meeting to order at 8:00 am in the City Council Chambers with
the following Commissioner were present, John Jones. Also present was Chief John Birk, Deputy Chief
Tom Walsh and Administrative Assistant Deb Shuett. Absent Mike Roberts
Public Comment
None.
1. Motion to Approve January 6, 2021 Meeting Report
Motion by Police Chairman Sue Meyer to approve meeting minutes. John Jones, second by Sue
Meyer to approve the minutes from the January 6, 2021 Police Commission meeting as presented.
All ayes, motion carried.
2. Unfinished Business
Personnel:
Officer Joseph Lopez and Officer Katherine Zajac have been sworn in last month.
The hiring process continues for candidates on the Police Officer Eligibility List.
3. New Business
None
4. Communications
The following bill(s) were presented for approval:
Stanard & Associates $395.00
Evaluation – Alberto Martinez
John Jones motion to approve bills, second by Sue Meyer. All ayes, motion carried.
5. Adjournment
Motion by Police Chairman Sue Meyer to adjourn meeting, second John Jones to adjourn the
meeting at 8:20 am. All ayes, motion carried.
