HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - 07/12/2021 - Police Commission City of McHenry Board of Police Commissioners July 12, 2021 Police Chairman Sue Meyer called the meeting to order at 2:00 pm in the Police Administration Conference Room with the following Commissioners present, Mike Roberts and John Jones. Also present was Chief John Birk, Deputy Chief Tom Walsh and Administrative Assistant Deb Shuett. Public Comment None. 1. Motion to Approve May 5, 2021 Meeting Report Motion by Police Commissioner Mike Roberts to approve meeting minutes. Second by Police Commissioner John Jones to approve the minutes from the May 5, 2021 Police Commission meeting as presented. All ayes, motion carried. 2. Unfinished Business Personnel Update: Officer Joseph Lopez is still progressing through the department’s Field Training Program. Officer Daniel Lincicum and Officer Alberto Martinez graduated from the basic police academy. Both officers have started the department’s Field Training Program. 3. New Business Sergeant Exam – Post the Sergeant Exam process. Will be using I/O Solutions for the written examination. The written exam will take place on October 6th at 9:00 am in the City Council Chambers. I/O Solutions will proctor the written exam. Looking to schedule the interviews with Police Commissioners in October or November. The goal is to post the Sergeant list by November 19th. 4. Communications The following bill(s) were presented for approval: Theodore Polygraph Service Polygraph – Angelica Cerceo - $200.00 The Blue Line Lateral Recruitment Listing - $348.00 2 5. Adjournment Motion by Police Commissioner to adjourn meeting, second by Sue Meyer to adjourn the meeting at 2:25 pm. All ayes, motion carried.
