RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Joan Marth is retiring from the City of McHenry on January 22,
1997 after having efficiently worked for the City Clerk's Office since April 4, 1983 as
Administrative Assistant to the City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, Joan was appointed as Deputy Clerk on May 1, 1993; and
WHEREAS, Joan has always worked with dedication, devotion and integrity
with the welfare of the City uppermost in mind; and
WHEREAS, her contributions and accomplishments are duly noted and
recognized; and
WHEREAS, she can look back with pride and satisfaction on a job well done.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council of
the City of McHenry go on record as recognizing Joan Marth's thirteen years of service
and express their appreciation and gratitude along with their best wishes in her
retirement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be incorporated into the
minutes of this meeting and that a copy of this Resolution be presented to Joan Marth.
PASSED AND APPROVED this I5th day of January, 1997.
