RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Union Pacific Railroad Company (hereinafter called Railroad Company)
has tendered to the City of McHenry, State of Illinois (hereinafter called City) a pipeline
license Agreement covering a 12-inch sewer main pipeline encroachment at Mile Post 65.80
identified in the Railroad Company's records as Agreement Audit No. and File Number 556-
90; and
WHEREAS, the Council of said City has proposed agreement before it and has given
it careful review and consideration; and
WHEREAS, it is considered that the best interests of said City will be subserved by
the acceptance of said agreement.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of McHenry
that the terms of the agreement submitted by the Railroad Company as aforesaid be, and the
same are hereby accepted in behalf of said City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of said City is hereby authorized,
empowered, and directed to execute said agreement on behalf of said City and that the City
Clerk of said City is hereby authorized and directed to attest said agreement and to attach
to each duplicate original of said agreement a certified copy of this Resolution.
