RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the City of McHenry recognizes the need to improve the
environment through the implementation of recycling plans in and for its residents;
and
WHEREAS, the City of McHenry has supported the education of its residents
through the programs provided by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency and
the City's Environmental Advisory Board; and
WHEREAS, the City of McHenry acknowledges the efforts of McHenry County
to provide regular approved disposal for all household hazardous waste materials.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the
City of McHenry, Illinois that the City of McHenry hereby approves and authorizes
City Staff to work with the McHenry County Department of Planning and
Development to co -host the 1998 McHenry County Household Hazardous Waste
Collection Day with McHenry County.
