RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the City of McHenry has changed the names of several streets
within the city limits over the past years; and
WHEREAS, McHenry Township maps still reflect the previous names of the
streets that have had name changes; and
WHEREAS, all City of McHenry maps reflect the proposed names of the
streets; and
WHEREAS, no Resolution or Ordinance has been issued officially changing the
names of these streets.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the
City of McHenry, that the following street name changes have been made in the past
and that the streets have been recognized with the new names for years:
change name from Country Drive to Country Club Drive,
beginning at Crescent Ave., south to Virginia Ave.
change name from Allen Ave. to Sunset Ave.
between Willow Lane south to Home Ave.
change name from Waukegan Rd. to Elm St. (Rt. 120)
beginning at the west City boundary east to the intersection
of Front St. (Rt. 31) and Elm St. (Rt. 120).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that any all maps should be changed to reflect
the above street name changes.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 15thDAY OF October,1997.
