RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, David P. Herda was hired as Street Superintendent for the
City of McHenry Public Works Department on November 14, 1994; and
WHEREAS, he has supervised his division with professionalism; and
WHEREAS, he has served the City of McHenry in his capacity as a
Street Superintendent with dedication and acted in all matters with the welfare
of the City uppermost in his mind; and
WHEREAS, he can look back with pride on his contributions and
accomplishments while serving the City of McHenry Public Works
Department.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of McHenry go on record as recognizing the contributions and
accomplishments of David P. Herda and expresses its appreciation and
gratitude on behalf of the citizens of McHenry.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be incorporated into
the minutes of this meeting and that a copy be presented to David P. Herda.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 11th day of February, 1998.
