RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Darlene Lawler-Schlies was appointed to the City of
McHenry Police Commission on May 6, 1992; and
WHEREAS, she has conscientiously served in the capacity of
Secretary for the Police Commission since the date of her appointment;
and
WHEREAS, she has given generously of her time and efforts; and
WHEREAS, she has shown civic interest in the City's progress
and development by her dedicated service to the Police Commission;
and
WHEREAS, her six years of contributions and accomplishments
are hereby noted and recognized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of McHenry go on record as recognizing these
accomplishments and expresses its appreciation on behalf of the citizens
of McHenry.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be
incorporated into the minutes of this meeting and that a copy be
presented to Darlene Lawler-Schlies.
