RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Vicki Lynn Sheppard was appointed to the City of
McHenry Plan Commission on May 1, 1987; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Sheppard has served in the capacity of Chairman
of the Plan Commission since May 1, 1988; and
WHEREAS, she has recently resigned from said Plan Commission
due to an unforeseen and unexpected relocation outside of the corporate
limits of the City of McHenry; and
WHEREAS, she as given generously of her time, talents,
experience, and efforts, and has provided leadership in bringing the City
of McHenry forward into the 21 st Century; and
WHEREAS, she has shown civic interest in the City's progress
and development by her dedicated service to the Plan Commission; and
WHEREAS, her eleven years of contributions and
accomplishments are hereby noted and recognized.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of McHenry go on record as recognizing these
accomplishments and expresses its appreciation on behalf of the citizens
of McHenry.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be
incorporated into the minutes of this meeting and that a copy be
presented to Vicki Lynn Sheppard.
