RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Shirley T. Jenkins was hired as Telecommunications
Dispatcher for the City of McHenry Police Department on May 10, 1970; and
WHEREAS, she has performed her duties with diligence, loyalty and
professionalism; and
WHEREAS, she has served the City of McHenry in her capacity as a
Telecommunications Dispatcher with dedication, skill and compassion, and has
acted in all matters with the welfare of the City uppermost in her mind; and
WHEREAS, she can look back with pride on her contributions and
accomplishments while serving the City of McHenry Police Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of McHenry go on record as recognizing the contributions and
accomplishments of Shirley T. Jenkins and expresses its appreciation and
gratitude on behalf of the citizens of McHenry.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be incorporated into
the minutes of this meeting and that a copy be presented to Shirley T. Jenkins.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 22nd day of June, 1998.
