A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR A DECREASE IN GRADE
LEVEL FOR DEPARTMENT SECRETARY AND
ADMINISTRATIVE SECRETARY.
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee of the City of McHenry met on
October 7, 1998 for the purpose of discussing Personnel Issues including Job
Classifications; and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee of the City of McHenry by a 2-0
vote with one member absent, recommended changes to the Job Classification
Chart, Appendix B-1 of the City of McHenry Personnel Policy, as follows:
Secretary -Department shall be moved from Grade 7 to Grade 6
Secretary -Administrative shall be moved from Grade 8 to Grade 7; and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee of the McHenry City Council
hereby recommends the change to the Job Classification Chart, Appendix B-1
of the City of McHenry Personnel Policy as above -mentioned; and
WHEREAS, the McHenry City Council accepts the recommendation
of the Finance Committee.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Mayor and City Council of
the City of McHenry go on record approving the modification of the Job
Classification Chart, Appendix B-1 of the City of McHenry Personnel Policy
as stated herein.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution be incorporated into
the minutes of this meeting and the City of McHenry Personnel Policy be
amended accordingly.
