RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT
TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2017/18 ANNUAL BUDGET
WHEREAS, the City of McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois, is a home rule
municipality as contemplated under Article VII, Section 6, of the Constitution of the State of
Illinois, and the passage of this Resolution constitutes an exercise of the City's home rule powers
and functions as granted in the Constitution of the State of Illinois; and
WHEREAS, the City of McHenry adopted a balanced Fiscal Year 2017/18 budget on
April 24, 2017; and
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the McHenry City Council, authorization was
granted for the Miller Riverfront Park Boat Launch Paving and Lighting project; and
WHEREAS, completion of the aforementioned project necessitates an amendment to the
adopted Fiscal Year 2017/18 Developer Donations Fund Budget in the amount of $86,556.40;
and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City
of McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois to authorize this amendment to the FY 2017/18
Developer Donations Fund Budget in the amount of $86,556.40, for completion of the Miller
Riverfront Park Boat Launch Paving and Lighting project.
Passed and Adopted this 19th day of March 2018.
