RESOLUTION
A Resolution approving the Local Match for Green Street Improvements
through the McHenry County Council of Mayors
Surface Transportation Program
WHEREAS, the City of McHenry ("City") is a member of the McHenry County Council
of Mayor's; and
WHEREAS, the McHenry County Council of Mayors has adopted policies for the
implementation of the Surface Transportation Program ("STP") Moving Ahead for Progress in
the 21" Century (MAP-21) Act; and
WHEREAS, those policies require that to

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and McHenry City Council of
the City of McHenry, Illinois that authorization is hereby granted to apply for STP funding for
Green Street Improvements project for Roadway Improvements; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Mchenry hereby agrees to allocate the required
20% local match ($264,880) for the Green Street Roadway Improvements project so long as the
project is programmed in the McHenry County Council of Mayor's Five -Year Program or its
Multi -Year B-List of projects.
