RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the McHenry County Tourism Committee's purpose is to deliver a quality tourism product
to visitors and local citizens alike, showcasing the cultural, recreational, scenic, historic and business resources
of the community while protecting and preserving the quality of life valued by its citizens; and
WHEREAS, forming partnerships with local business agencies and organizations to promote our
community in the regional, national and ;global marketplace and to deliver a quality product, we will provide
opportunities for growth and development of the county's tourism industry and enhances the economic vitality
of the area; and
WHEREAS, the City of McHenry recognizes the efforts, goals and objectives of the McHenry County
Tourism Committee and acknowledges the positive impact this Committee's efforts will have on the citizens of
the McHenry Community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the McHenry City Council goes on record as
supporting and endorsing the McHenry County Tourism Committee.
