Awarding Shamrock Lane Route 31
Roadway Improvements and
Traffic Signalization
WHEREAS, McHenry City Council held a Public Hearing on June 14, 1999, and
approved the advertisement for bids for the City of McHenry Project known as the
Shamrock Lane/Route 31 Road Improvements and Traffic Signalization; and
WHEREAS, the Bid Notice was published in the Northwest herald on July 19,
1999 and the Bid Opening was held at Smith Engineering on Tuesday, August 3, 1999 at
11:00 a.m.; and
WHEREAS, the lour bidder was Curran Contracting Company of Crystal Lake,
Illinois in an amount of $574.,407.20.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IS RESOLVED by the McHenry City Council that
a contract is hereby awarded for the following:
Section 97 00056-SA, Illinois Route 31 and Shamrock Lane
Improvement to Curran Contracting Company of Crystal Lake,
Illinois in an amount not -to -exceed S574,407.20.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to sign, execute and deliver the necessary contract and contract bond
documents in conjunction with the aforesaid project.
PASSED and APPROVED this 18TH day of AUGUST , 1999.
