Tree Donation Application - City of McHenry

Donated trees may only be planted at the McHenry Municipal Center or in one of the City parks. The cost is $400.00 per tree for any one of the following species listed. Payments are accepted at the Municipal Center (333 S. Green Street). All trees are locally grown and purchased as available from a nursery. Size of trees varies by species. Species and location will be determined by the City Arborist. Tree Donation Applications must be received by April 1st as plantings are scheduled on or near Arbor Day (last Friday in April) every year. 

Trees planted at the McHenry Municipal Center and the City parks will have a memorial brick installed in the ground near the tree. The maximum lettering limits are 3 lines and 12 characters per line.
